About Heather Lynn


Heather's passion for cake decorating began when she was 13
years old. She still has the ripped pages of her first 1993 Wilton
Yearbook!! She started to collect cake pans and decorating
tips and attempted to make the cakes that "resembled" the
ones in the yearbooks, along with making a huge mess in her
mother's kitchen!!
She attended Culinary School- HCAT Institute, at Anne
Arundel Community College, for 3 years.  While in school she
worked for various retail bakeries locally and apprenticed  for 2
years in Baltimore at a private club as a pastry cook. Her love
for cakes continued to grow as she decorated more and more!
Although she loves her job as a cake decorator, now working in
a gourmet market in Annapolis, MD, she still enjoys making
cakes for her own clients.  Wedding cakes are her specialty,
and of course the most rewarding....but she also loves to do
